As you may have seen, the Department for Education (DfE) has announced that GCSE, AS and A-level exams will go ahead next summer with most exams taking place three weeks later than usual. The summer exam series will start on 7 June and end on 2 July (subject to change) for almost all AS and A-levels and GCSEs. The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) will shortly be consulting on a provisional version of the new exam timetable for summer 2021. Results days will be a little later than usual - on Tuesday 24 August for AS and A-levels, and Friday 27 August for GCSEs.

As no exact dates for exams have been confirmed at this point we are unable to give you individual timetables for your child. Once we receive confirmed details we will post the summer 2021 exam timetable on our website.

Press release 2020

It is with great delight that we celebrate the hard work, resilience and positive attitude of the class of 2020 who have achieved so much under such difficult circumstances. The students in this year group have been a real joy to work with for the past two years. They have approached everything they have done inside and outside the classroom - their academic studies and extra-curricular activities -   with great energy and enthusiasm. They have made a massive impact on the life of the school as a whole. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow into intelligent, confident young people who can cope with anything – even a pandemic in the last few months of their A Level courses. We are proud of them all and will, of course, miss them hugely but look forward to hearing about their future successes in the world beyond Little Heath.

We wish them every success in the future. All the students in the class of 2020 deserve praise for their achievements, however the following deserve special mention in the summer of 2020.

You must bring official photographic ID with you also when collecting certificates.

Certificates will be retained for 3 years until the 31st December 2023.

Certificates are valuable documents as they are the official record of exam results and should be looked after very carefully. The school cannot provide replacements if they are lost; you must request replacements from the exam boards directly, for which they charge a fee.
