UNIFORM REMINDER

As we head into winter and the weather is turning colder, we wanted to remind you of the uniform students should be wearing in school.

All students are expected to wear:

  • LHS white logo polo shirt – red logo for lower school (Years 7 and 8) and silver logo for upper school (Years 9, 10 and 11).
  • LHS logo v-neck jumper – red logo for lower school and silver logo for upper school. Hooded tops and cardigans are not allowed.
  • Smart black tailored school trousers (see the website for further details). No other styles are acceptable.
  • Smart, plain black school skirt as identified below. No other styles are acceptable.
  • A plain, dark waterproof school coat for outdoor wear only.
  • Black shoes that are suitable for school - plain, polishable, with a low heel, without obvious logos or coloured lace ends. Canvas shoes, sandals and boots are not permitted.

BATTERY RECYCLING

If you are a West Berkshire Council resident, you can now recycle your used household batteries with your weekly waste. 

Put your used household batteries in a clear bag and place them on top of your black wheelie bin ready to be collected on your relevant collection day. Batteries they collect are: D, C, AA, AAA, AAAA (1.5-volt), A23 (12-volt), PP3 (9-volt), CR2032 (3-volt), and LR44 (1.5-volt). We also collect hearing aid batteries as long as they are removed from the device.
