MOBILE PHONE POLICY REMINDER

We have had an unusually high number of mobile phone confiscations this week. We wanted to remind students that mobile phones should be switched off and placed in their school bag before they come onto site each day. Mobile phones that are seen by a member of staff on site will be confiscated, and parents/carers will be contacted to collect the phone at the end of the school day.

Sixth Form students are allowed to use their mobile phones whilst in the Sixth Form building, but they must be away when in lessons and when walking across the school site. This includes earphones and headphones. If students are seen using a mobile phone, or earphones / headphones, these will be confiscated.

COMMUNICATIONS SURVEY

We would be grateful if you can spare a couple of minutes to complete our short online survey about communications to parents/carers. The survey closes on Sunday 2 February.

The survey can be completed here: LHS Communications Survey 2025

RSPB BIG GARDEN BIRDWATCH
24-26 January

Sadly, we have lost 38 million birds from UK skies over the last 60 years. The RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch takes just one hour to complete and with birds facing so many challenges, it’s more important than ever to get involved. Every bird you do – or don’t – count will give them a valuable insight into how garden birds are faring.
