If you cycle to school, please make sure you are fully equipped to cycle in the dark and the winter weather. We have been informed of a number of students riding bikes along Little Heath Road who are not visible as they have no lights or reflectors. Ensure you have working, clean lights for the front and rear of your bike Wear a his vis or something bright and reflective to ensure you are visible to traffic and pedestrians Always wear a cycle helmet Give your bike a health check...are the brakes working, pump up the tyres and check the tread. For advice on a quick 2 minute bike check, visit this website: https://www.cyclescheme.co.uk/… you walk to school, please also be aware of not being visible to road users, and never cross the road whilst looking at your mobile phone. Please stay safe!
