ARBOR PARENT APP

Just a reminder that we are now recording the following information on Arbor, our new management information system, and it will no longer be available on Satchel One:

  • all House points and behaviour points;
  • any teacher narrative about the points;
  • detention notifications and information.

Additionally, you are now able to view your child's timetable and attendance records on Arbor. You are also able to report a student’s absence from school using the App. Please note that Satchel One is still being used for homework assignments.

If you haven't yet done so, we kindly ask all parents/carers to download the Arbor Parent App. Instructions for downloading and using these apps can be found here (Parent App) and, if students wish to also download the app, here (Student App). Students will need to download the app then select 'reset password', which will send a link to their school email to reset it.

More information was sent home to all parents/carers recently. See the full letter here: LHS Arbor App letter - May 2025

LITTER SURVEY
Help us to improve the litter at LHS

We need your support in tackling a persistent litter issue at school. Over the last two years, a number of representatives at our Student Voice Conference expressed that the general view of students is that litter is not their responsibility, and this attitude is reflected in the state of the school grounds.

We sadly receive emails from local residents who are concerned about the amount of litter not only within the school grounds but also in the surrounding area. We have taken several steps to address the issue, including:

  • Increasing the number of bins around the site

  • Introducing ‘ballot bins’ where students vote on a fun weekly question by using designated bins

  • Organising daily litter picks by site staff

These actions have had a small impact, but we recognise that much more needs to be done to change behaviours and build a culture of shared responsibility.

We believe that meaningful, long-term change will only happen if our whole school community – students, staff, and families – works together. We would very much value your input as parents and carers too.

Please take a few minutes to complete our Parent/Carer Litter Survey here: https://forms.office.com/e/gSW3t3axEE. The deadline for responses is Sunday 15 June. Your ideas, feedback, and suggestions will help us shape a whole-school approach and find practical, lasting solutions.

Alternatively, you are welcome to email with your comments and suggestions to: office@littleheath.org.uk
