WHOLE SCHOOL Notices

HAYFEVER MEDICATION & WATER BOTTLES
Important Information

The pollen count is currently high, and the temperatures are rising again next week. If your child suffers with hayfever they MUST take their medication before school, or bring it in with them. We have had many students visiting Pupil Reception this week suffering with hayfever symptoms but not having taken an antihistamine.  We are unable to administer medication at school.

Please also ensure your child has a reusable water bottle with them EVERY DAY, which can be refilled at one of the many refill points across the school site. Students are also permitted to wear black tailored shorts in the hot weather.

SUMMER CONCERT
Wednesday 9 July - Tickets on sale this Monday!

The Summer Concert will take place on Wednesday 9 July in the Main Hall starting at 7pm. This year we have chosen the theme “Where In The World?”, featuring a selection of music showcased from a variety of different countries, performed by groups and soloists who have been rehearsing throughout the year.

Tickets are priced at £3 each and will be on sale from Monday 16 June on ParentMail, although physical tickets will not be issued – names will be signed off as you arrive. Any unsold tickets will be available on the door before the Concert for cash purchases. If you have any difficulty making payment, please contact Finance on 0118 9439523.

We look forward to seeing you next month, and thank you for your continued support.

STUDENT ARBOR APP
Guidance for Logging In

Thank you to those of you who have downloaded and are now using the Parent Arbor App. We have received feedback that students are finding it difficult to log in for the first time. We hope this summary of the process for the Student App will be helpful:

  1. Download Arbor student app on your phone
  2. Type in school email address and click 'reset password'
  3. Login to school email and select a new password
  4. Login to the app with the new password
  5. They can then set up fingerprint/face recognition, etc, so they don't have the type the password again.

YEAR 7 Notices

YEAR 7 ECO DAY
Wednesday 2 July

On Wednesday 2 July, we will welcome a number of external organisations into school to run sessions on a topic related to climate change or sustainability. There will also be workshops run by our Year 12 Sustainability Prefects. The aim of the day is to inform students in a fun and interactive way and inspire them to make sustainable changes and climate considerations at school and at home.

We hope it will be a really enjoyable day for all involved. If you have any questions or suggestions for the day, please email Mrs Saunders esaunders@littleheath.org.uk.

YEAR 8 Notices

YEAR 8 WWII LEGACIES DAY
Parent Survey

Last Monday, year 8 students took part in a cross-curriculum day looking at the legacies of the Second World War. This was to mark 80 years since the end of the War, and to enable students to consider the relevance and importance of the legacies of the war still today.

We would love to hear what your child has got out of the day. Please could we ask you to spend some time asking them about the day and then complete the survey below? Thank you very much to those who have already completed it - the QR code for the survey is also on the sheet that students took round on the day.
