YEAR 7 ECO DAY
Wednesday 2 July

Next Wednesday, 2 July, we will welcome a number of external eco-focussed organisations into school to run sessions on climate change and sustainability. There will also be workshops run by our Year 13 students and Year 12 Sustainability Prefects. The aim of the day is to inform students in a fun and interactive way and inspire them to make sustainable changes and climate considerations at school and at home.

They will be split into their Science classes, and will rotate around the workshops during periods 1-4 (two classes will also receive an additional session during period 5). Students should wear school uniform, as usual, and bring their required stationery, along with a reusable water bottle, and their lesson resources for period 5.

We hope it will be a really enjoyable day for all involved. If you have any questions or suggestions for the day in future, please email Mrs Saunders esaunders@littleheath.org.uk.

YEAR 8 Notices

YEAR 8 GRADUATION EVENING
Thursday 3 July

As a reminder, the Graduation Evening will take place on Thursday 3 July. The timings for the evening are as follows:

• 6:00pm for X-side students (8 DJO, 8 CHA, 8 BGU, 8 JHE, NMU)
• 7:15pm for Y-side students (8 TFU, 8 TJA, 8 SFO, 8 JAN, 8 HHA)

All parents and Year 8 students are warmly invited to attend. Unfortunately, due to the large number of attendees, we are unable to accommodate siblings.

It has been fantastic to see how the students have fully embraced the challenges of Year 8 graduation, taking responsibility for their learning and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones. This programme has been a wonderful way to mark the end of their Key Stage 3 journey, and we look forward to celebrating with them, and you, on Thursday evening.

Please note, that you will also have the opportunity to purchase pre-loved school uniform and PE kit, along with stationery supplies from our required stationery list. You can review what stationery is required on our website, here: Little Heath School - FAQs. Both cash and card will be accepted on the night.
