BICYCLE LICENCE AND CYCLE SAFETY
Reminder for students who cycle to school
All students who cycle to school must have a Bicycle Licence in order to bring their bicycle to school. Securing this licence involves a simple process, where students and parents have to agree to follow the simple rules around bicycle safety.
If students cycle to school without a licence, or if their licence is withdrawn, then they will be banned from bringing a bicycle on to the school site. This is done with the best interests of all of our students and staff in mind. Staff will issue a warning if a student does not have a helmet or cycles their bike on the school site, or if they ignore any staff instructions around bicycle safety. You can find out more here: Transport to School
To secure a licence for your child, please click on this link: Apply for a Bicycle Licence.
We have also received a number of reports from staff, neighbours and parents, about students riding their bikes dangerously around the surrounding roads before and after school. Please can you remind your children of the dangers of riding bikes unsafely around cars and pedestrians.

Boys Singing Day
Sunday 22 June, 10am-5pm
This one-off event with the Berkshire Music Trust is a day of singing with like-minded boys from across the county. Come for a day of learning about your voice, how to sing at that next level and gain knowledge from some of the best male singers in the county. There will be groups for unchanged voices, changing voices as well as for those with voices that have already settled. Including a Masterclass on Classical and Contemporary singing, this full day of singing promises fun, support and camaraderie for boys between 8 and 18 years old. The focus is supporting boys to continue singing through their voices change.
Students will need to bring a packed lunch (light refreshments will be provided). Cost - £10
