WINTER FESTIVAL
Thursday 27 November
This year's Winter Festival takes place on Thursday 27 November at 7pm in the Main Hall. It is a true celebration, and a festive showcase, of the musical talent Little Heath has to offer!
Tickets for the event are now available to purchase via ParentMail for £3. Ticket sales will close at 2pm on Wednesday 26 November.
We will also be fundraising for Daisy's Dream, a charity supporting children and young people to prepare for a loss or to support them through a bereavement. We will be holding a raffle with prizes including cinema tickets and a family hamper. Tickets can be purchased on the night for £2 a strip – cash is our preferred option if possible!
We hope to see you there to kick off the festive season!
CHRISTMAS CARD COMPETITION
Deadline Friday 28 November
All students are invited to submit their designs for this year's Christmas Card Competition, which closes next Friday, 28 November. We have only received a few entries so far, so don't miss out on your chance to design our official Christmas card! The design will be sent to other local schools and organisations, suppliers and important school contacts.
Designs can be digital or created by hand – you can paint, draw, create a collage, take a photograph or design online! It must be an original design, and please do not include any wording.
Label your entry with your name, form and House and pass or email them to Mr Viner in Art.
BOOK2SCHOOL COMPETITION
Book Donations Required
The English department has launched a House competition to make reading accessible to all, by encouraging students to donate their pre-loved books.
Students can bring along their unwanted books, suitable for teens/young adults, to the English Office. They are particularly looking for fiction books that deal with teen issues, dystopia, conflict, as well as gothic books and the classics!
Please ensure the donations are labelled with your House. The House who donates the most books will be the winner! The closing date is Friday 5 December.
RAFFLE DONATIONS
Senior Citizens Party, Tuesday 16 December
Every year, the Year 13 Sixth Form Committee arrange a tea party for the senior citizens in our local community. This event is very popular and will be attended by over 130 local senior citizens.
This year the event takes place on Tuesday 16 December. We rely on donations from our parents, local companies, and staff to make it a success. Therefore, I would like to kindly ask if you could help us with donations of gifts for raffle prizes. These can be taken to the main reception, but please no later than Friday 5 December.
Thank you in anticipation of your help.
