CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY
Wednesday 10 December
All students and staff will be invited to wear a Christmas Jumper on Wednesday 10 December. This coincides with our annual Christmas lunch at school, and we are looking forward to a festive day filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of Christmas spirit. It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the season as a school community.
Please be reminded that it is NOT a non-uniform day. Students must wear their school uniform as usual, but may wear a Christmas jumper instead of their school jumper. Please note that this is entirely optional.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Wednesday 10 December
There will be two sittings for those who have pre-booked Christmas lunch this year, with KS3 students having lunch between 12:20pm and 1:05pm and KS4 students having lunch between 1:20pm and 2:05pm. If your child is not having a Christmas lunch, please be aware that there will be a limited alternative food selection which will be served in the Snack Shack.
If you have booked a Christmas lunch for your child, please ensure you have made them aware.

Our Whole School Summer Musical is officially launching, and we are searching for talented, committed, and passionate performers from every year group to bring this production to life!
Whether you sing, dance, act, or simply love being part of something spectacular, this is your chance to shine. Auditions are open to all, and we cannot wait to see the incredible talent our school has to offer.
Audition information:
When: Thursday 11 December, after school
Where: Drama Studio
Who: Open to ALL year groups. You can audition alone for a main part, or in a group of 4 for smaller parts/chorus.
Audition scripts are available to collect from the Drama Office. Please prepare a song for the main parts. The group dance and song for the smaller roles will be taught during the audition.
If you are unable to make the audition date, don’t panic! Please speak to Mrs Jeremiah or your Drama teacher as soon as possible so we can arrange an alternative.
Let’s make this year’s summer musical the biggest, boldest, and most unforgettable yet!
See you at auditions—break a leg!
BOOK2SCHOOL COMPETITION
Book Donations Required
The English department has launched a House competition to make reading accessible to all, by encouraging students to donate their pre-loved books.
Students can bring along their unwanted books, suitable for teens/young adults, to the English Office. They are particularly looking for fiction books that deal with teen issues, dystopia, conflict, as well as gothic books and the classics!
Please ensure the donations are labelled with your House. The House who donates the most books will be the winner! The closing date is Friday 12 December.
SWEET TUB COLLECTION
Tub2Pub Scheme
Greene King's ‘Tub2Pub’ is a recycling campaign to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and to recycle plastic sweet and cracker tubs. Last year we collected over 640 tubs which contributed to their total of over 240,000 tubs saved from landfill, raising an incredible £10,916 for Macmillan Cancer Support!
Please start collecting tubs over the coming weeks, and especially over the festive period. We can take all the plastic sweet tubs, chocolate tubs and cracker tubs (plastic only please, no metal).
Bring them along to Resources. Please ensure you have them labelled with your HOUSE or you tell us your House when you drop them off so we can keep a tally.
