EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Spring Timetable | Extra Curricular Activities Fair – 12 February
We offer a wide variety of Extra-Curricular Clubs and activities in school. Our latest timetable for the Spring term can be viewed online here: LHS - Extra Curricular & Offsite Activities
As part of Children's Mental Health Week (CMHW), we will be inviting students to the Sports Hall during lunchtime on Thursday 12 February for our Extra Curricular Activities Fair. The theme of CMHW is 'This is My Place', with the aim of supporting the systems around young people to help them feel they belong. Our fair is an opportunity to talk to students who will be representing their clubs, from music and sport, to Harry Potter and Board Games. There really is something for everyone and for students to find a place where they feel they belong!
YOUNG ENTERPRISE
Bake Sale - Wednesday 11 February
The Year 12 Young Enterprise students are holding a Bake Sale on Wednesday 11 February. They will be by the Sixth Form Centre at lunchtime.
They will be selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for £1.75 each and cookies for £1.00 each.
ECO-COMMITTEE NATURE SPACE
Can you help with Equipment and Plants?
Thanks to the funding from Mend the Gap, we have been able to lay some excellent foundations for our student-led outdoor learning and nature space. Now we need your help to get the project over the line!
We are looking for donations of plants and equipment so we can complete the final stage of this natural space with our students, and for them to take ownership of developing the area.
If you would like to support our project, we are specifically looking for:
- Water butts
- Watering cans
- Gardening tools
- Sensory plants for our wellbeing spiral
- Pollinator friendly plants for our wild areas
We have an online Wish List LHS Nature Space Wish List 2026, with some direct links to the kind of items we are looking for, although we are very happy to accept donations of second hand gardening equipment.
If you, or someone you know, are a keen gardener and have divided plants or plants grown from cuttings, we would love to give them a new home to grow! A list of suggested plants is in the letter linked below, but we are open to any plant donations.
If you would like to support the project with a financial donation, these can be made via ParentMail listed as Eco-Committee Nature Space Donations.
If you would like to find out more, please take a read through this letter: Eco-Committee Nature Space letter for parents & carers Feb 2026, or contact Mrs Saunders by email: esaunders@littleheath.org.uk.
