REMINDERS FOR AFTER EASTER

Monday 13 April is an INSET day, so school opens for all pupils on Tuesday 14 April (week 1/A).

  1. For those riding a bike to school:
  • Please ensure a helmet is worn and remember that bikes must not be ridden on the school site. Pupils must dismount and walk their bikes when they arrive at the school gate in the morning, and at the end of the day they should walk their bikes to the exit gate before riding off.
  • Pupils who fail to follow this rule will be warned, and continued riding on school site will result in a ban from bringing a bike to school. Please encourage your child to follow these rules for staff and pupil safety.
  • On a general note, please encourage your son or daughter to be safe and sensible when cycling to and from school, especially when there are many cars dropping off or picking up pupils. Little Heath Road and the surrounding roads can become very busy.
  1. Please ensure pupils are:
  • in the correct uniform (a good time to sort out any issues over the two‑week break, including piercings),
  • restocking their pencil cases,
  • and bringing a reading book to school each day for DEAR time

Thank you.

Mr Rayner
Assistant Head - KS3
