SPORTS DAY
Thursday 16 July
Our rescheduled Sports Day will take place on Thursday 16 July. Students are invited to wear their House colours to school. Competitors should bring PE kit, or sportswear in their House colours, to change into at lunchtime.
Students will be expected to have all their books and materials for Periods 1, 2 and 3 only. Lunch will be from 12:10pm-12:50pm after a shortened Period 3. Sports Day will begin after lunch. Students will be dismissed directly from the field at 3:15pm. Buses are scheduled from the front of school at the normal departure times.
Students are advised to bring some cash with them as there will be an ice cream van; and our ASDAN group will also be running a stall selling sweets and drinks. Both the stall and the ice cream van will only take cash. All students must bring a sunhat and sunscreen, as well as a bottle of water specifically for the afternoon.

LAST DAY OF TERM
Friday 17 July
School will close at 1:00pm on Friday 17 July.
The restaurant will operate the normal break time service, but there will be no opportunity to purchase food after break time. Students entitled to Free School Meals may make use of their allocation at break time.
There will not be a bus service at the end of the school day. Please note, there is no facility for any student to be supervised at school after 1:00pm. All students will need to leave the school site after dismissal at 1:00pm.

Emails will not be checked after 1:00pm on Friday 17 July until we return on Thursday 3 September 2026, so please do not expect any response after this time. The reception “office” email and the SMILE wellbeing email will also not be monitored for the duration of the summer break.

Our “Concerns” email will be monitored on the following days over the school holiday: Monday 20 July until 2pm on Friday 28 August.
Please note that the "concerns" email will not be monitored over the August Bank Holiday weekend, and it will not be monitored on the other weekends of the school holiday.

Exams and Results Days:
The examinations email exams@littleheath.org.uk and the emails of our exams officers Mrs Strudley (cstrudley@littleheath.org.uk) and Mr Bradshaw-Willis (AWillis-Bradshaw@littleheath.org.uk) will be available during August for any queries regarding exam results or Results Days at GCSE or A Level.
Please note that there will be no reply until Monday 3 August.
Sixth Form:
Sixth Form students can continue to contact Mr Jessop on his email address throughout the summer. Both Year 12 and outgoing Year 13 are encouraged to contact as normal with any queries or concerns.

WEST BERKS BOOK CHALLENGE
For ages 12+
West Berkshire Libraries are running the West Berks Book Challenge for anyone aged 12+. This book bingo-style challenge encourages participants to read at least three books over the summer break.
Students can take part at any West Berkshire library. Those who complete the challenge by reading three books will be entered into a prize draw: one winner at each library will receive a £15 Waterstones gift card, and one participant across West Berkshire Libraries will win an iPad, kindly given to us by our e-library provider, BorrowBox.
