MEND THE GAP FUNDING
Outdoor Learning and Wellbeing Space
Work has begun this week on a nature project which will benefit the Little Heath community, thanks to funding from Mend the Gap.
Once complete, the area will enhance the learning experience of our students by providing an sheltered outdoor learning space that will be surrounded by nature, the opportunity to grow and cook food outside, to observe and increase biodiversity, and to focus on wellbeing.
The area has been in development following an EPQ project by one of our ex-Year 13 students, Beth. The generous donation from Mend the Gap has enabled us to bring Beth's vision to life, enabling her to leave a lasting legacy!
We look forward to showing you the progress over the next few months.
ANTI-BULLYING WEEK
10-14 November 2025
This week is Anti-Bullying Week. The theme for this year is Power for Good, which celebrates the ability we all have to stand up to bullying, spread kindness, and create safer environments for every child.
Despite progress, more than one in five children and young people experience bullying each year. The impact can be devastating, affecting their mental health, confidence, and ability to thrive at school, with the effects often lasting into adulthood.
This week, students worked through activities during tutor time focussing on what bullying is and how we all have a role to play. From choosing to speak up, to choosing kindness and making a difference. We are stronger together!
