Thames Valley Police: Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship - recruiting now
The PCDA is a three-year Police Constable (PC) entry programme combining operational duties with academic learning, resulting in formal degree qualification.
Successful applicants will complete 21 weeks of initial training, which is a blend of practical experience and classroom-based learning, followed by 10 weeks of individual coached patrol and tutoring, followed by work- based learning at your base station. This will lead you to attain a L6 accreditation in BSc Professional Policing Practice.

The University of Reading is delighted to be hosting an Open Afternoon at Henley Business School on Wednesday 3rd December from 1:00 – 3:30pm for Year 13 students interested in studying Business & Management or Real Estate & Planning.
This free-of-charge event provides a perfect opportunity to learn about the course curriculum and discover what it would be like to study with us. We welcome parents, carers and supporters to accompany students should they wish, and places for additional guests can be requested when booking. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet current staff and students, explore our campus and the benefits of studying at Reading, and participate in a taster lecture before asking your questions of our student panel.
