Year 7 students took part in our very first Earth Day on 22 April. The aim was to give them the opportunity to take part in a number of interactive and fun workshops aimed at educating them about the climate crisis and giving them positive ways to make a difference.

1960s production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'
Amaani, a 17-year-old student in Year 13 at Little Heath School, has received the prestigious invitation to serve as a Brand Ambassador for Great Britain at the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf 2023. The Invictus Games, initiated in 2013, stemmed from Prince Harry's visit to the Warrior Games, a competition for wounded servicemen organised by the U.S. Department of Defense. Inspired by this visit, Prince Harry conceived the idea to host the inaugural Invictus Games in the United Kingdom—an international sporting event dedicated to wounded, injured, and sick service personnel.
Over the last academic year, the Eco- Committee have worked hard to complete the Eco-Schools programme. We have focused primarily on the topics of Energy, Litter and School Grounds, but our work has extended beyond this with additional projects including meat free meals and recycling.
