CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK
Wellbeing Newsletter
This week is Children's Mental Health Week (CMHW). The theme for 2026 is 'This is My Place', and the aim is to support the systems around children and young people to help them feel they belong. Some of our Sixth Form Student Senior Leadership Team and Prefects have put together this video which was shown to all our students in an assembly at the start of the week.
We hope you will enjoy watching it here: Children's Mental Health Week Video 2026
We have also put together the February issue of our Wellbeing Newsletter. We talk about CMHW and there are links to the avenues of support mentioned in the video.

CLOUD BUSTING
National Theatre Connections production
One of our students, Louise, is performing in this year’s National Theatre
Connections production of Cloud Busting by Helen Blakeman (based on the novel by Malorie Blackman). This is a powerful, youth-led theatre production presented by Berzerk Productions.
Cloud Busting is a play about friendship, belonging, and the pressures young people face when trying to fit in. It explores bullying, peer influence, and the importance of empathy, while celebrating imagination, individuality, and connection.
Louise would love your support by coming along to watch this performance, and celebrating young people telling stories that matter on stage.
Performance Details:
24th, 25th & 26th February 2026 at 7:00pm
The Oakwood Centre, Headley Rd, Woodley, RG5 4JZ
