Interested in a career in nursing?
Then why not come along to this taster day that has been set up with Health Education England to celebrate International Nursing Day.
During the day you with get to learn about what a career in nursing could look like for you, speak to nurses in smaller groups during our breakout session, find out more on the different routes into nursing including university and apprenticeships, take part in a practical task that will help you build skills to become a nurse, and get all your questions answered during the Q&A panel.

This is a roadshow exhibition promoting and celebrating all things apprenticeships. More than just a careers fair or conference, the event is a one-stop shop for anyone looking to find out more about apprenticeships.
Morrisby: Becoming Professional Webinars
Morrisby are launching a BRAND NEW series of student-focused webinars exploring a number of different professions. Each webinar will introduce the profession and you will hear from current students and practitioners about the career path and their route thus far. If you are interested in exploring the route to becoming an Osteopath, in particular Y11/12 students interested in some form of Medicine or Allied Health then join their first event to find out more.

EY: Career Starters
If you’re considering an alternative to university, EY Career Starters programme will give you an insight into the world of EY, and help you decide if the EY Business Apprenticeship is right for you.
This Career Starters programme balances on-the-job experience, with business skills sessions and meeting EY apprentices and leaders, giving you an insight into the work Business Apprentices do at EY.
VIRTUAL GET INTO NURSING CONFERENCE
Saturday 3rd June 9:30am - 12:30pm
Chief Nurse Mentor Abbie Dickinson will give her insight into how to get into nursing and what your students need to stand out when applying to a very popular (and funded) course.
Abbie will cover: personal statements, applications, interviews, getting work experience, and what it’s like to be a nurse.
VIRTUAL GET INTO MIDWIFERY CONFERENCE
Saturday 3rd June 2pm - 5pm
I will share my experiences as a midwife and how to - you guessed it - get into midwifery! I will give bespoke advice for future midwives on personal statements, applications, interviews and work experience.
VIRTUAL ALLIED HEALTHCARE WORK EXPERIENCE
Sunday 4th June 10am - 5pm
The next session for the NHS Healthcare Work Experience programme launches on Sunday 4th June! A strong record of work experience is essential for all applications to healthcare careers, including nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, occupational therapy, radiography, and many more!
The NHS interdisciplinary team has a very unique way of operating, so I encourage all students interested in healthcare or working for the NHS to join.

Tickets for each conference are £10, and every work experience session is £10. If students wish to attend a conference and enrol onto the work experience session, choosing the bundle above saves £5.
Ernst & Young – Recruiting Apprentices – Level 7
Students have the chance to join this Big Four global organisation and start their career in Assurance. They currently have this apprenticeship opportunity available in multiple locations across the UK which is a Level 7 and is equivalent to a masters degree but it's for free!

The Young Psychologist Summer Experience

This summer's workshop will focus on the speculative design of a small community. Through the fabrication of models, sketches, and collages you will explore the process of iterative design and making, as well as visual communication.
St Mary's University Twickenham: Law LLB Masterclass Day - Moot Court
The Law LLB Masterclass is designed to provide prospective law students with an introduction to legal skills and a short debate, as well as provide an insight into the many different careers a law degree can lead to.
Bristol University: Girls into Electronics
Girls into Electronics is a non-residential event that is hosted by University of Bristol in collaboration with the United Kingdom Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF). The event is ideal for girls in Year 11, 12 or 13, who are thinking about studying Electronics, Computer Science or Engineering. Participants will get the chance to hear from female staff and students at the university, and from female graduates working in the Electronics industry, have a tour of facilities, and also get an introduction to microcontrollers.
