STFC Apprenticeship Roles - Applications Open
Our Apprenticeship roles for a September 2026 start have now also gone live and are open until 2nd February. I have attached a full list of the vacancies and the entry requirements, please can you share this with your students and their parents.
For anyone who is interested in applying I would urge that they come along to our Apprenticeship Open Evening on Wednesday 21st January from 5-8pm (last entry 7pm), there are still some tickets available so if I could ask you to send the attached flyer out to students and parents it would be very much appreciated.
All school leavers – please do look at these roles as they range from Business Administration, Marketing, Library Assistant , Software Engineer to mention just a few. Entry requirements in some cases are as low as 2 GCSE’s at Level 4 – this is very rare!
The entry levels also range from level 3 – level 6 – please do look at attached, do not miss out

Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship – Wedlake Bell
Wedlake Bell are hosting an application masterclass webinar for Year 13 students on Tuesday 4th February 2026 4.15-6.00pm. Cyber Security Degree Apprenticeship ( Space, Defence & Intelligence)– CGI Reading
You will study towards a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions degree via the Cyber Security Professional pathway in partnership with a university/learning provider based in the South East of England. The rest of your time will be spent developing your career with us.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- A minimum of five 4-9 GCSEs (or equivalent grades A*-C on the old grading scale), including English and Maths.
- To have or be predicted to achieve at least 112 UCAS points across three A-Levels or equivalent BTECs at grade C or above (excluding General Studies) gained in the same academic year or a completed Advanced IT Apprenticeship. (We encourage applications from those who do not meet these grade requirements but have extenuating circumstances).
- Your A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) should include an IT related subject, unless you can show software programming or development ability through work experience or extra-curricular activities.
- Flexibility to travel and work on projects across the UK.
Due to the sensitive nature of projects within the SDI sector, candidates must meet security clearance requirements. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK.
Our apprenticeships are designed for candidates with A-Levels (or equivalent e.g. BTEC etc) who do not yet have a degree in a related subject. If you are working towards a degree, or already have one, please see our Industrial Placement and Graduate Programmes.

The P&G Commercial Degree Apprenticeship is an exceptional "earn-while-you-learn" programme. It allows students to gain three years of invaluable, hands-on business experience while simultaneously earning a fully funded BA (Hons) in Business Management from the University of Kent.

Programme details - The programme is run by the University of Reading. The 2026 programme is planned to consist of three on-campus events (two one day events in March and April), and a 4 day residential in July) with online e-mentoring throughout provided by current students. Though all events are planned to be on-campus, if required virtual events may replace in-person events and dates may be subject to change due to matters beyond our control such as strikes. Whether virtual or on-campus, activities include support from student ambassadors, university-style subject-specific and study skills sessions, and working towards an academic project as well as information, advice, and guidance sessions.

Pathways to Property is a charitable programme run by Henley Business School that’s designed to raise awareness about the vast range of careers available within the Real Estate industy.
